First night - we arrived just in time to pitch the tent before dark, but not quite enough time to eat dinner. I'm sure we had a few extras in our dinner that night

Vues on the Bay

Terrible.

My meal was awful - I started out positive, but by the end I'd lost all niceties and I feel comfortable saying the meal was terrible.

I had the Garlic Prawns with Squid and Chirizo.  The prawns and squid were over cooked and the whole meal smelt really bad. The location is great, right on the foreshore - that should have been a clue to the quality of the place - tourist trap!!!

Reid had the steak - better, but over cooked and really just ok

Port Stephens - 10 points off!

The Stuarts Point Tavern we ate at last night was so much better - and that was in the middle of no where!

Medowie Macadamias

Stopped for lunch at Medowie Macadamia's - the food is good and the complimentary chocolate coated macadamia with the coffee was really tasty! Maybe I'll have to buy a packet ...
