Vues on the Bay

Terrible.

My meal was awful - I started out positive, but by the end I'd lost all niceties and I feel comfortable saying the meal was terrible.

I had the Garlic Prawns with Squid and Chirizo.  The prawns and squid were over cooked and the whole meal smelt really bad. The location is great, right on the foreshore - that should have been a clue to the quality of the place - tourist trap!!!

Reid had the steak - better, but over cooked and really just ok

Port Stephens - 10 points off!

The Stuarts Point Tavern we ate at last night was so much better - and that was in the middle of no where!

Medowie Macadamias

Stopped for lunch at Medowie Macadamia's - the food is good and the complimentary chocolate coated macadamia with the coffee was really tasty! Maybe I'll have to buy a packet ...

Stuarts Point

Lovely campsite here, lots of trees, a little basic and isolated

Emerald Beach

Stopped for a coffee at Emerald Beach - a lovely little spot with not much of anything except a beautiful beach and a fancy beachfront restaurant! Looks like the food would be fantastic!

Yamba

Our next stop on the trip home is Yamba

We're at the Yamba Waters camping ground Everything here is very nice - all the houses are big and well maintained, with immaculate lawns and gardens!

Redcliffe

Farewell Woodford! You were fabulous

We're on our way to Yamba now and stopped in Redcliffe for breaky and a stroll on the pier

It's a nice little stop - although a bit bogan and the beach doesn't look too appealing
