We spent a week on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, we went for Benn and Julie's wedding and stayed on for the rest of the week.
They got married at the
Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko Olina.
The Ko Olina resort area has a golf course, marina, villas, 2 hotels/resorts, and 4 man made lagoons. We stayed at the Beach Club Resort, 2 lagoons down from the Ihilani

Breakfast - in order to avoiding eating too much crap we had HUGE breakfasts and no lunch. There weren't many options for eating at the Beach Club that didn't involve something grilled, fried, or coated in cheese

At the
Hawaiian Pro surfing competition, the first in the
Vans Triple Crown of Surfing at Haleiwa beach. The waves weren't so big, but apparently the week before they had been huge!
